Using varying color mediums and unique color techniques, pressed flowers are made vivid and colorful. Naturally, pressed flowers lose much of their natural color after completely drying and with passing of time, pressed flowers continue to fade. Flowers From Lena applies a unique, delicate and soft, color enhcamenet to make each design a true piece of lasting art.
Yes! Any flower can be pressed and preserved. However, all flowers do not press the same. Certain flowers maintain their color and shape much better than others. Pressing flowers is an art that uses a natural medium, meaning the results will always vary and will be one of a kind, each and every single time.
With all orders, you can expect pressed flowers to be 1-3 shades different than when they were fresh. This is a beautiful metamorphosis that flowers undergo while being naturally preserved. Different flowers require different pressing methods in order to achieve the best possible result. I can press any flower I receive in your bouquet or any special request for a custom frame, but please note that all flowers are different and results will always vary based on flower type, color, size, weight, thickness.
Absolutely! In fact, the majority of my bouquet preservation clients have been outside of Northern Virginia (where I am).

Of course! DMV clients based in and around Washington DC, can arrange for a simple drop off of their bouquet. Please make sure to arrange for your drop off while your bouquet is still fresh. Please see Bouquet Preservations for mailing information.

YES! I am happy to announce that my floating pressed glass frames are designed by me and made exclusively for Flowers From Lena. My frames are also hand assembled by me, in house!
Clients will have standard option of gold, silver, white, wood, black floating frames or hanging pressed glass frames in gold.
However, alternative color options may be available upon request.
Flower pressing is all about patience! Part of the reason I have found so much stress relief and calm in flower pressing is because of how long the process takes and the magic of each stage. You can't rush or push something so delicate and natural, such as flowers.
Bouquet Preservations take 9-11 months depending on the size of your bouquet and type of flowers included, color enhancement process, and high volume of clients.
